natural. Ideally, the product must be able to break down dirt and grime but not
drying out your skin like normal soap. The best time to cleanse your face is in
the morning, before shaving for guys and before you sleep. If you have large
pores or very oily skin, try to use a masque to deep cleanse for a week. Masque
absorb excess oils, tighten pores and remove impurities embedded in the skin.
Tone and Tighten
Dust, grimes, smoke, and others environmental
pollutants have a negative effects on your skin, especially if you spend a lot
of time outdoors. Toners remove any traces of grimes left on your face after
cleansing, and they tighten facial pores, leaving your face clear and firm. They
are the ultimate secret ingredient for a really glowing complexion. Skip toning
if you have dry skin, but if not then look out for toner with glycolic or alpha
hydroxyl acids as they actually reduce large pores and help avoid ingrown hairs.
Toners should be used all over the face if you have oily skin or in the T-zone
for those with combination skin. Use less alcohol-based toner as it can have
drying effect.
Nourish and Nurture
Moisturizer dehydrates your skin with moisture, and
is perfect follow-up after cleansing and shaving for guys. A light moisturizer
will hydrate all area without leaving your skin slick or greasy. Pay attention
to your sensitive eyes area, as this is the first area that will show signs of
aging. An eye gel with vitamin E is helpful to nourish and refresh the delicate
skin around your eyes. To use, dot the moisturizer around your face, starting at
the forehead and working down the neck area. Moisturizing is an excellent way to
keep your skin look supple and young.
Exfoliate and Eliminate
A good scrub 2 -3 times a week is good for flawless
and glowing skin. Dead cells are removed effectively, to reveal satiny, smooth
skin underneath. For guys, usage of a scrub before shaving will gives you a much
smoother shave, and effectively remove ingrown hairs. It's the best thing to
brighten up an ashy complexion and you will see immediate differences. Try to
use a facial soothes and freshens you skin while lifting away the dead top
layer. Best of all, it cleanses as well, thus you do not need to use a separate
facial cleanser while you exfoliate.
